AI/ML Engineer Intern - 2025/2026/2027 Batch
Role Overview
We're hiring AI/ML Engineer Interns from the 2025/2026/2027 graduating batch to work on model development, experimentation, and deployment into production or embedded systems. You'll get hands-on exposure across the ML lifecycle - from data pipelines to optimized C++ deployment - under the mentorship of senior engineers.
Eligibility
- Pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's degree (CS, ECE, Data Science, or related), graduating in 2025, 2026 or 2027
- Available for a 6-month internship, with the start date confirmed during the interview process
- Open to both PPO-track interns (pre-placement offer potential) and short-term interns, depending on your program structure
Responsibilities
- Build, train, and evaluate ML/DL models (classification, detection, recognition tasks)
- Write clean, efficient Python for preprocessing, experimentation, and prototyping
- Assist in porting trained models to C++ for performance-critical or embedded deployment
- Support data pipeline development and model evaluation scripts
- Profile and debug model performance (latency, memory, accuracy)
- Document experiments and collaborate with backend/embedded teams on integration
Required Skills
- Strong fundamentals in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Working knowledge of C++ (STL, basic memory management)
- Understanding of core ML concepts: neural networks, CNNs, evaluation metrics
- Git and Linux command-line familiarity
- Strong problem-solving mindset, eager to learn deployment workflows
Nice to Have
- Computer vision experience (OpenCV, face/object recognition)
- Exposure to embedded/edge AI (Jetson, Raspberry Pi, i.MX-class SoCs)
- Familiarity with ONNX/TensorRT or model optimization/quantization
- Python-C++ interop experience (pybind11, ctypes)
- Personal projects, Kaggle competitions, or research publications
What You'll Gain
- End-to-end ML lifecycle exposure - data to deployment
- Real-world performance-constrained/embedded systems experience
- Mentorship from senior AI/ML and systems engineers
